Director of CERGAS and Associate Professor in Public Administration at Università Bocconi, Milan (IT). She is Professor at SDA Bocconi School of Management. She graduated in Business Administration at the Bocconi University and holds an MSc in Health Services Management and PhD in Public Health both from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, UK. Her main areas of research are: health care management, economic analysis of health care services, health policy and HTA. More recently, Rosanna focused on medical devices, a class of health technologies whose assessment is more challenging than other technologies such as drugs. She has been the leader of a just concluded large, three-year EU-funded project “MedtecHTA”, that has highlighted how to improve methods for assessing medical devices.
Rosanna serves as advisor for the Ministry of Health of Italy and is member of the Board of Director of ISPOR. She also serves other several public and private entities in Italy and abroad.
