Eva Pagano (10th March 1972, Italian), Unit of Cancer Epidemiology, AO Città della Salute e della Scienza, Torino). Education: Degree in Economics; Master of Science in Epidemiology. Occupation: she has been working, as health economist, to research projects on: the analysis and assessment of local policies in cancer care, mainly focused on quality, appropriateness and cost of care; evidence-based clinical practice guidelines elaboration; administrative data analysis for healthcare assessment (performance and outcomes indicators); protocol design, data collection planning and analysis of cost-effectiveness evaluations within RCTs; cost analysis within clinical epidemiology studies (observational cohorts); health care costs modelling methods. She was collaborating with the Piedmont Region for the development of the Health Technology Assessment activity at regional level and presently with the hospital Evidence Based Medicine group and the HTA-Drugs group. She has teaching experiences at university level and training in: health economics; healthcare organization management; and epidemiology. She has published 56 papers in peer reviewed journals.
